Climate Action Recognition Scheme 2022-23 Grand Final cum Award Ceremony
The "Climate Action Recognition Scheme (CARS) 2022-23 Grand Final cum Award Ceremony" was successfully held on 6 September 2023 at Business Environment Council. The Water Supplies Department (WSD) was one of the supporting organisations and the Assistant Director / Development of WSD, Mr. Wilson MA Hon-wing was invited to present the awards to the winners, supporting sustainable development and raising public awareness of climate crisis.
Initiated by Wofoo Social Enterprises, co-organised by the Environment and Ecology Bureau, and supported by The Hongkong Bank Foundation, CARS is a climate action youth entrepreneurship program in Hong Kong, and has been instrumental in cultivating the next generation of climate entrepreneurs, raising public awareness about climate change, and mobilising the community towards meaningful climate action.
