Water will become a rarer commodity

According to the news, two-thirds of the world's population may face water shortages by 2025. Ecosystems around the world will suffer even more worse, and water will also become scarcer.

In fact, water is already an expensive commodity in some areas. A website recently compiled a Water Price Index report, which compared the cost of tap water around the world (Assuming an average monthly water consumption of 15 cubic meters per person). The city with the highest average price of water was Oslo, Norway, at US$6.69.

The water charges of Hong Kong are much cheaper than the other cities in the world. Yet, we should not waste water but take the responsibility to cherish our precious water resources!
